Superb wax

Having been a little shocked at the size of the tin, the quality of the wax soon came to the fore. You only need a small amount on a cloth for it to go a very long way. I have a ten year old Scaramanga leather satchel which now looks superb and feels supple. Great product

Worked great

Transformed an old unwearable coat to one that he is wearing again. He wasn't able to wear his favorite leather jacket any longer as it looked awful. He is now wearing it again. Its not perfect but looks pretty darn good and was easy to restore.

Works very well.

The works very well, I used it on our couch and it only take a small dab to heal the sofa. Our cat scratched on of the arms of our sofa and after using this the scratches disappeared.

Miracle leather treatment

Purchased to use on my Car seats. I have tried several balms including TRG back colouring balms which was fine, although buffed/polished for several hours and still it was still leaving black marks on our clothing a couple of weeks later, also the effects only lasted ten months.Update: Having tried the small time we purchased the larger size and have used on a number of items, including a 30 year old watch strap, as the watch's strap fitting are very unusual I had thought I would have to have a replacement especially made but no a couple of application of Elephant preserve and the strap has been rejuvenated and whilst it would be a stretch to say as good as new, it is completely transformed and not far off it's original condition. My wife has also used on a pair of leather boots that had faded not only has the colour come back bu they are really supple and as an added bonus the Elephant preserve has waterproofed them (I do not think they would stand up to wading in a river but they are impervious to water spots from splashes, the water beads off and no dark marks appear). And for new shoes a couple of applications, massaging the preserve in to the inside of the heal and the leather becomes more supple and stops blisters, I used it on my Church shoes who have always torn up my heals, no more they are like slipper now. Amazing stuffI then tried a leather dye/paint purchased from Ebay claimed specifically for BMW black leather, awful stuff, luckily I only did the one seat having applied with a sponge I stopped after a few minutes when the sponge disintegrated, even though I managed a completed cover the effect is very patchy, like I coloured in bits with a marker pen. A warning to you all.Elephant Leather preserve is fantastic stuff, easy to apply and although it is clear (a bit like vaseline in texture) it actually brought back the original black colour of the seat side edges which have become whitish grey with time and wear. I really does make the leather feel much more supple. I have to confess that is judged on a test patch that I initially did properly, as once done I put on a good coat on the rest of my leather to sit for a several hours hoping the leather will absorb as much as it can and I will go and remove the residue.

This type of leather is particularly widespread in shoes and bags. In the furniture sector, the term "saddle leather" is used for this type of leather. In the case of fatty leather, the grain has been preserved, whereas in pull-up leathers, the grain has been sanded during production. Characteristic of the leather are a patina look, the slight emergence of traces of scratches and the slight discoloration when rubbed with a moistened rag. The discolouration occurs because the oils and fats used for the surface treatment are colored. ApplicationAll products should always be tested first for changes in the hidden area! To do this, always apply the products in a circular fashion from seam to seam to avoid staining or banding. Aniline CleanerFor everyday cleaning, it is sufficient to dust the leather occasionally with a duster or dry duster. When cleaning the surface, apply a little cleaning foam on a sponge or cloth and clean it circularly and evenly from seam to seam. Do not clean too wet and do not rub too hard.
