I want to repair two small holes and a few faded areas and scratches on bolsters on front seats especially and seat/arm rests. This is on Arabica perforated leather. Is there any problem due to it being perforated. I want all the kit I would need to repair the holes and then colour fresh the front seats. What items would I need to completely carry out this process please? Many thanks.

Hi,Please, could you email us some photos of the damage to info@colourlock.com We need good quality photos, ideally one close up and a wide angle shot so we can see where the damage is so we can recommend suitable products for the repair. Please, can you also provide your Make, model and Chassis No./VIN so we can find out more details about your interior. Best regards.

I have a pair of very soft tan leather boots which have damage to the ankle area where the finish is peeling or has peeled of can I repair this damage and if so what products would I need. The videos are very encouraging but showing car seats which is much tougher/ thicker leather. The damage on the red seat looks similar to my damage on the boots.

I plan to use the Fluid Leather to fill some deep creases before dyeing. Is it necessary to use the GLD Pen before dyeing? I didn't order the GLD Pen and I'd rather not wait several more weeks before starting my repair.

Hi,We highly recommend that you use the GLD Pen as it removes any excess filler and gives the area a nice finish. If you choose not to use the pen you need to ensure that you use a spatula to make a smooth finish as you could end up with an uneven finish which will be obvious when coloured.Best Regards,Sara@Colourlock

Went to Amazon to find products needed to repair cat scratches on the back of my leather kitchen chair. Thought I needed your Liquid leather and Leather fresh to do the job. However, when I received the items, in the instructions for the Liquid Leather said to use the GLD Pen to smooth out the repair. But, I can't find it in stock at Amazon, or Colourlock.com. I found and overseas place that had it, but they don't ship to the USA. What do I do to take the lumps out of the repair without this product. I sent a request for you to send me a color chart so I could select the proper color. I also bought the sanding square from you. The cat scratches have small pieces of leather sticking up were it was punctured. The instructions said to sand those down with the square. However, when I did that, it didn't remove the flaps of leather, but it did remove the color from unscatched portions of the chair. I did by the Leather Fresh that matches the color, but I will still have lumps where I filled the holes. Please tell me what I need to do to complete this repair. Thank you.

Dear Phyllis, Thank you for getting in touch. It sounds like you need the GLD Pen but can you please email some photos to info@colourlock.com so we can be sure before you buy. The GLD Pen is out of stock at the moment but we expect to have it on sale in the next few days. We can get in touch with you when it is back in stock but the please send the photos first so we can analyse the exact cause. Hope this helps.
