Ray asked on 2020-02-17 06:08:12:

Hi there,I used colourlock strong leather cleaner as I was unable to fully clean my magma red leather seats on my 2011 Audi S4Nappa leather using a milder leather cleaner. While the strong leather cleaner did remove the dye transfer and bring back the color and depth, I did notice some red dye transfer in the foam. Seeing as the regular leather cleaner I was usingnot colourlock was not removing the dirt/stain, was it ok for me to use strong leather cleaner in this sense? Once I was done I did condition the leather thoroughly. Just looking to get clarity or if I should not use strong leather cleaner if I notice the foam turns slightly redfor my seats.Ray

Hi Ray, the Strong leather Cleaner is suitable to remove dye transfer from the leather. However, if the foam turned red, then probably the protective Top Coat on the leather was damaged by the cleaning. If the damage is not on a high contact area, it should be OK, but if it is, touching up the area with our Leather Fresh Dye will seal the leather, to avoid colour fading in the future. For more information, please email us on info@colourlock.com. Best regards.
